Gabe Saporta, the charismatic frontman of Cobra Starship and Midtown, has launched a brand new skincare line targeted to men called Brotege.
Under the tagline “Skincare for Bros, Not Pros,” the debut product Good Boy Protection (For Bad Bros!) is an all-in-one daily moisturizer that contains SPF and retinol. The product is designed to be a simple solution to having healthy skin without all of the muss and fuss of an expert-level, multi-step skincare routine—something that has been glamorized across social media over recent years. In addition to being an easily accessible line of products, Brotege is environmentally conscious, arriving in fully recyclable aluminum packaging. A portion of all profits will be donated to bring awareness to animal shelters and dog rescues. Who doesn’t love a damn good product that also supports good boys…we’re referring to the puppies, not the men. *wink wink*

“I started Brotege because when me and my bros entered our 30s. We found the whole concept of having to take care of our faces confusing and cringe,” Saporta shares. “I kept seeing more and more men’s skincare brands popping up, but none of them were speaking to us. So five years ago, I set out to create an effective, simple, affordable product with everything a guy needs, and branding that would make my friends laugh. Brotege is not for dudes who pride themselves on their niche knowledge of the latest skincare trends, it’s for the 40% of bros who don’t own any face products, and don’t have time to figure it out. Thanks for checking it out.”
Good Boy Protection (For Bad Bros!) retails at $24.99 and is officially available to purchase at Brotege’s website here. Orders will begin shipping out at the beginning of November. As a special gift to fans who support and purchase Brotege early, the brand is offering a 50% off lifetime discount on monthly subscriptions.
Additionally, Saporta will be in Las Vegas, NV, this weekend, performing with Cobra Starship at When We Were Young Fest, the band’s first live set together in 10 years. You can catch them on the Purple Stage at 3:30 PM local time on Saturday, October 19 and Sunday, October 20.
