When Fred Durst makes his major motion picture directing debut soon, Fast and the Furious star Paul Walker may be the first big actor the rock star directs.
The movie ‘Wanna-be’ is shaping up to have Fred at the head of production with Walker and Scott Caan (Gone In 60 Seconds) starring in the drama.
‘Wanna-be’ is about the son’s of mobsters who chose not to follow the family business. Production is due to start in October.
Durst contributed to the soundtrack of The Fast and the Furious with a Limp Bizkit remix of Rollin’ featuring DMX and Redman.
He had been working towards directing the $10m indie production of Runt when this opportunity came along.
His other previous directing credits include his work on the Limp Bizkit videos.
