Warped Tour is officially back, and alongside all of the amazing artist announcements (see below), the brand is reviving something else iconic: Ernie Ball Battle Of The Bands. This contest is dedicated to helping unsigned bands connect with new fans and also offers them the chance to win $100,00 of prizes and the chance to perform on the mainstage of the three summer Warped Tour dares. This includes high-end guitar, drum, and bass gear, keyboard equipment, $1,000 of Vans gift cards (for each performer), the chance at a record deal, and more.
Previous winners of the contest include some iconic names such as PVRIS and Mayday Parade. Yes—you read that right. Could the next winner be you?
To enter, send your submissions to battleofthebands.com. The entry period ends on May 1. Then, a panel of judges will review the submissions based on technique, creativity, originality, and entertainment value, and fan votes also play a part in the final decision. Then, six bands will be declared winners.
