After an unfortunate series of events, lead singer of SeeYouSpaceCowboy Connie Sgarbossa, shared on Twitter/X that her tenure in the band may be reaching its end.

In a January 15 social media post, she said, “Probably gonna be leaving SYSC due to a lack of urgency on issues I have been bringing up for a while now. It was fun while it lasted.”

This is likely in response to the January 14 Dance Gavin Dance tour announcement where The Home Team, SeeYouSpaceCowboy, and Dwellings were listed as support.

Fans of both SeeYouSpaceCowboy and The Home Team took to social media to express disappointment and anger for being on the bill with a band associated with sexual assault allegations.

Of note, Dance Gavin Dance’s former lead singer Tilian Pearson was accused of sexual assault. In June 2022, he took a step away from the band to get professional help and was welcomed back into the band in November. Then, Pearson parted ways with the band in April 2024.

However, per a separate Sgarbossa post, it seems like the tour itself was not something she wanted to do in the first place. She said, “Believe me, there is no part of me as an individual that backs this either.”

SeeYouSpaceCowboy has deleted the Dance Gavin Dance tour announcement from their social media, though the band has not made any further comments.

Fans shared an array of reactions on Twitter/X regarding Dance Gavin Dance, SeeYouSpaceCowboy and The Home Team on the tour as well as Sgarbossa’s possible parting.

Additionally, controversial Falling In Reverse vocalist Ronnie Radke, who is a convicted felon, responded to Sgarbossa’s notion of not supporting the tour. He said, “No you do back it I saw the screen shots of your text to the band. also you are making 100k on the dgd tour you fucking punk ass bitch. You fucking poser. drop off the tour if you don’t back it then oh wait you need that 100k.”

Notably, in March 2023, Spiritbox dropped from a Falling In Reverse tour after their fans shared their disappointment online.

idobi Radio is sending lots of love to Sgarbossa and hoping she finds peace in or out of SeeYouSpaceCowboy.
