While Chiodos have continued to celebrate major milestones—like surpassing 10 million streams on Bone Palace Ballet’s standout track “Bulls Make Money, Bears Make Money, Pigs Get Slaughtered”—the Craig Owens-led post-hardcore mainstays have finally ended their nearly decade-long hiatus. The band made their highly anticipated live comeback this weekend at the When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas, NV, performing under the Chiodos name for the first time since their hiatus began.
Unfortunately, the other founding members of the group were unable to participate in the Chiodos performance. However, joining Owens on this monumental occasion is drummer Nicholas Clemenson, known for his work with Frail Body, Bleached Cross, and Pains, to perform the 13-track 2005 All’s Well That Ends Well album in full.
Watch Chiodos perform “The Undertaker’s Thirst for Revenge Is Unquenchable (The Final Battle)” live at When We Were Young on the Allianz Stage.
They’ll be performing again tomorrow at the festival at 6:50 PM local time.
More on Chiodos
While this weekend marks the first Chiodos billed shows in nine and a half years, Owens has been keeping the spirit of the project alive on his solo tours as well as reimagining several songs within the last year, such as “Baby, You Wouldn’t Last A Minute On The Creek.” Chiodos will also be performing on the Emo’s Not Dead Cruise alongside The Used, Saosin, Boys Like Girls, Hawthorne Heights, and more. The cruise will set sail on February 4, 2025, from Miami, FL, and return on February 8. Tickets are available here.
