It’s the end of a dazzling, snake-filled era for the iconic duo, ’68. Vocalist Josh Scogin (The Chariot, Norma Jean) and drummer Nikko Yamada announced their farewell tour dates, which kick off in May and end in June. And because of this seemingly quick wrap-up, some fans were quick to inquire as to whether Scogin will replace Better Lovers frontman Greg Puciato (Dillinger Escape Plan), who amicably split from the group in late February.

Though, after several speculations on social media, Scogin responded to one comment, clarifying, “Uhhhh no. Love the dudes but this was set in motion long before.”

So, while we grab our tickets for ’68, we still await news of a new Better Lovers leader.

’68 shared on social media with the tour dates, “Every good story deserves a good ending.” Additionally, fellow musicians shared their gratitude for working with the duo. Better Lovers’ Clayton “Goose” Holyoak, commented, “I feel very lucky to have made some lifelong memories with you boys. Thank you for the best of times!”

The last chance to see ’68 is on June 20 at Atlanta’s Masquerade. Check out the full run below and grab your tickets here, beginning on Friday. All VIP packages are currently live.
