Beauty School Dropout just dropped their first taste of music for 2025, and it was so worth the wait. “On Your Lips” has a divine mix of scene-era electronic flourishes, grunge-laced guitar melodies, and urgent pop-rock vocals.
The band shares, “This song is our first big leap into a sound we’ve never harnessed before. It’s experimental, rhythmic, heavy, and fun all at the same time.”
They add, “For us, it means maturing into our sound and showing we’re not the same kids we were when we started this project 5 years ago. For the fans, it’s meant to be a track they put on at parties, late-night drives, and all the cinematic moments you wish you had a score for in life.”
Excitingly, Beauty School Dropout is gearing up to head out on the idobi Radio Summer School Tour. The tour is slated to kick off on July 11 in Detroit, MI, make a stop at Vans Warped Tour in Long Beach, CA, and conclude on Aug. 10 in Philadelphia, PA.
