Shoemaker explains, “’Game Of Thrones’ is a chronicle of every thought (good and bad) of someone in their late twenties trying to figure out how they can become who they want to be.”

In the track, Shoemaker perfectly encapsulates growing pains that continue into adulthood with shimmering vocals and visuals. Plus, the lyrics, “All I think about is Jacob Elordi and if my personality’s getting boring it’s no surprise,” uniquely hit home for young adults everywhere.

Of the record, Shoemaker took to Instagram to say, “Constantine and I wrote this album in Long Island and then drove down to Nashville to record at our friend John’s studio. We actually ended up rewriting a lot of it in Nashville. I think once we got in the car to drive down there we were like, ‘Holy shit holy shit we are uprooting our lives to make this— it better be absolutely exactly what we want it to be.'”
She continues, “I can say on my end that this album is indeed exactly everything I wanted and needed it to be. I can’t wait for you to hear it. From the bottom of my heart thank you so much for listening, I love you!”
Shoemaker is currently supporting Joe P on a 30-date tour across the States. You can check out her full touring schedule below and purchase tickets here.
