Andrew McMahon has cancelled the remainder of his appearances opening for fun. on their American tour due to a family emergency. He made the following statement on his Facebook page:
Dear Friends and Fans,
I regret to announce that I will not be able to finish out the remaining shows of the Fun. tour due to a family emergency. I want to assuage any concerns that this cancellation is a result of my own personal health, as it is not. I cannot convey how disappointing this is for me and the band, but it is important for me to be at home at this time. I thank you for your support and understanding.Andrew
No word on whether this will affect his upcoming headlining dates.
