The scene is so back, bb! Today, 6arelyhuman and asteria have unleashed their neon-drenched, Myspace-era scenecore EP, Cute Songs For Gangsters. Alongside the five-track release, the duo has dropped an official music video for “RED MERCEDES,” a visual time capsule drenched in nostalgia.
Designed to resemble an early 2010s YouTube player, the video fully embraces the theatrical, over-the-top aesthetics that defined the scene kid era. From brightly dyed hair and torn-up fishnets, it’s an unapologetic throwback to the days of your top 8 and grainy video/photo quality. Anyone who grew up on Myspace will surely appreciate it. Last week, amid Warped Tour’s ongoing 2025 lineup announcements—rolling out since late January—the festival revealed that 6arelyhuman will make their debut appearance this summer as part of its highly anticipated 30th-anniversary celebration.
In addition to their Warped debut, 6arelyhuman is gearing up to hit the road this spring for The Sassy Scene Tour Part 2, joined by Miss Luxury as direct support.
