twenty one pilots have announced their third album, titled Blurryface. The album will be released on May 19th through Fueled By Ramen Records. The band are streaming the first single from record, “Fairly Local,” which you can hear below. twenty one pilots will also kick off a full U.S. tour this September with support from the rising pop act, Echosmith.
Since Vessel, the drum/piano duo, whose genre is hard to pin down exactly, has only grown in popularity. With that also comes a certain amount of expectation for the next record. The band have clearly given fans a taste of a fresh sound that strays across genres and musical styles, so we can hope that they’ll deliver another dose of the unexpected on Blurryface.
