The Used will headline the 2013 Take Action Tour with support from We Came As Romans, Crown The Empire, and Mindflow. The tour, put on by Hopeless/Sub City Records, is in its 11th year and aims to raise awareness about issues affecting teens. This year Take Action has joined forces with the It Get’s Better Project, an organization “created to show young LGBT people the levels of happiness, potential, and positivity their lives will reach — if they can just get through their teen years.” 10% of each ticket sold will go towards the organization, ticket links can be found here. In addition to the tour, Sub City/Hopeless Records will release Take Action Volume 11 on January 8th. The annual compilation features two discs of songs from bands like Say Anything, Mayday Parade, I Am The Avalanche, and Transit. Many bands also recorded exclusive tracks for the album including Bad Religion, All Time Low, Plug In Stereo, and Sharks. 5% of the sale of each CD will go to various charities.
