YUNGBLUD is our spooky king who is enlightening our Halloween season with new music. The “21st Century Liability” singer released a short teaser earlier today depicting a new track to come.
In an Instagram video, the artist shared a sped-up audio of a forthcoming collab.
His captions read, “NEW TEASER ALERT! I can reveal this song is a collab… slow the audio down n guess who it is… if you guess right in the comments imma send some of ya £10 on PayPal startin tomorrow!!! let the fookin games begin.”
In the Instagram comments, many fans believe the voice to be Oli Sykes of Bring Me The Horizon. Are we getting a new collab following 2020’s “Obey”?
One Twitter/X user @matinsuwi slowed down the audio and posted a video with the caption, “it’s def oli.”
According to the video, Sykes sings the lyrics, “Don’t let me die/I need you right now,” followed by YUNGBLUD singing the lyrics, “If I could tell you how I feel/I hope that you’re still waiting…” If fans are correct and the mystery collaborator is in fact Oli Sykes, this will mark the singers’ second collaboration together following 2020’s “Obey.” Hopefully the “strawberry lipstick” singer will drop more hints in the next few days and send a few pounds to lucky PayPal users.

This upcoming song follows the release of one of his most powerful, vulnerable, heartwrenching tracks to date, “Hated.” Released in late August, “The song is ultimately about freeing yourself from bad experiences and trauma. finding inner strength. acknowledging your past, accepting the pain, and having the courage not to let it define your future. You’ve got to kill somebody to be somebody to be who you want to be. You have got to hit rock bottom and live through all of the shit nobody believes. You’ve got to hurt some people, but first, some people will thirst on watching you bleed. And that’s when you know that you’ve made it. When you’re hated,” shared YUNGBLUD in a statement.
With raw songwriting shared across his entire discography, it’s fair to say we are thrilled to hear what the artist has in store next.
