Matt Cutshall is the mastermind behind Emo’s Not Dead and more viral emo videos. However, between planning events for elder emos, including the recent Emo’s Not Dead Cruise, and crafting content, Cutshall is also making new-age pop-punk under the moniker Your Broken Hero. In fact, he had the chance to perform on the cruise, as well. Today, Your Broken Hero dropped a new music video for the track “Don’t Listen To My Voicemail” featuring Pierre Bouvier of Simple Plan.
With hilariously self-deprecating visuals, the “Don’t Listen To My Voicemail” includes packs of Pabst Blue Ribbon (the No. 1 choice of punk, of course), swoopy black side bangs and eyeliner, leather bracelets, Converse and Vans, and every other stereotype imaginable.
It’s all in good fun, and is a genuinely catchy, energizing fun track with both heartfelt and hilarious moments. Check out the full music video below.
If you couldn’t catch this year’s Emo’s Not Dead Cruise featuring the likes of Underøath, Yellowcard, Mayday Parade, Story Of The Year, there’s good news in store.
