Yellowcard Release First New Music In Seven Years

Yellowcard have been building more and more since their return last year. What started out as a few festival appearances and celebrations of 20 years of Ocean Avenue has transformed into something completely different. Now they are scheduled to release a brand new EP called Childhood Eyes in July via Equal Vision Records, something nobody truly saw coming.

And on top of that, they have shared the title track of the EP. Let’s just say it is so lovely to have them back. Bright, breezy and brimming with all of the heart-fluttering emotion that we have come to expect from the band, it’s an incredible returning crescendo. With a chorus that will stick to your brain like tar and plenty of earnest melodies wrapped around it, we are really in for a treat with whatever else the EP has in store.

Plus, the video is a bit of an epic, with darkness, deception and a daring rescue mission playing out before our eyes. But not everything is as it seems:


Childhood Eyes will be released on July 7th via Equal Vision Records. Yellowcard will be touring across the US, playing Ocean Avenue in full, this Summer. Here are all the dates:
