The thrilling When We Were Young Fest onstage cameos just keep getting better and better. On the October 21 festival date, Rise Against performed “Swing Life Away” from 2004’s Siren Song Of The Counter-Culture with some help from Yellowcard‘s William Ryan Key.
Earlier in the day, Yellowcard performed their own set, and Ryan Key was joined by Pierce The Veil’s Vic Fuentes for “Three Minutes More” and Cassadee Pope for “Only One.” Like we said, there are great collabs happening like clockwork at the 2023 WWWY Fest.
Check out Rise Against and Ryan Key sharing the stage below.

More on Rise Against
Rise Against has been celebrating the release of their album Nowhere Generation since it was released back in 2021. A record that focuses on the plights and pitfalls that the younger generations are going through in the world right now, it’s a sentimental and sensational piece of rousing punk rock worthy of the band’s back catalog. It was followed by Nowhere Sessions, which took some of the highlights and stripped them back. Then there was Nowhere Generation II, released in June 2022, a continuation of the album. It was released in this manner to allow the message of the era not to get lost in the noise and to still be front and center of our minds.
Rise Against is now set to join blink-182 on their tour of Australia and New Zealand in early 2024. The bands will make their way across the country, including five massive shows in Melbourne. Here are all the dates you need to know.
