Trash Boat just offered another taste of what fans can expect on their forthcoming album, with the new single “Are You Ready Now?” Preceded by tracks “Delusions Of Grandeur,” “Liar Liar,” “Break You,” “Be Someone,” and “Better Than Yesterday,” “Are You Ready Now?” is set to appear on Heaven Can Wait, due out via Hopeless Records on October 4
Of the LP, lead vocalist Tobi Duncan shared, “I’m not trying to paint a pretty picture that is nice to look at or that’s easily digestible. I’m simply trying to paint an honest picture, and get as much of myself into these songs as possible. It’s direct, it’s unfiltered, it’s raw.”
“Are You Ready Now?” offers myriad unexpected sonic twists and turns with sprinkles of hardcore, modern rock, and even pop. Duncan even shows his skill by including a 20-plus-second scream. Trash Boat is beloved for keeping fans on their toes, never falling into one consistent sound. Check out the new single below.
