Australian twin duo The Veronicas are heading back to the States in 2024 with special guest Jesse Jo Stark. Their Gothic Summer Tour is scheduled to kick off on April 3 in San Francisco at The Fillmore and wraps up on May 5 at Los Angeles’ famous Fonda.
This is especially exciting news for fans who didn’t get to see the “Untouched” singers’ major return when they performed at 2023’s When We Were Young Fest. Here, they also sang their new single “Perfect,” featuring Travis Barker on drums, which is set to appear on their forthcoming record Gothic Summer, arriving in early 2024 via Big Noise. On top of announcing tour dates, The Veronicas also teased a new song arriving this Friday, December 15, titled “Detox.” The pair dropped a trailer ahead of the release. Seemingly, the track promises to be an instant rock hit, leading with a scream.
In a recent Instagram post, it seems like they shared a few lyrics for “Detox,” too. ““I Wanna Sweat. Can’t Catch My Breath. I’m So Obsessed. I Need A Detox,” their caption reads. Presaves for the forthcoming song are available here.
