The Story So Far Announces LP, ‘I Want To Disappear,” And Releases Single

Pop-punkers The Story So Far are back! They announced their new album, I Want To Disappear, drops on June 21 via Pure Noise Records. To give fans a taste of what to expect ahead of the LP, a new single, “Letterman,” unveils the next phase of the act.

The music video for the new song features the act in black-and-white performing the tune. It’s an elevated rendition that displays how the popular punk genre can mature with its members and fans. Frontman Parker Cannon’s vocals soften while maintaining their strength, reinforcing the lyrics, “‘Cause even if I close my eyes and fantasize/It’s never gonna help me admit that you’re gone/And to just accept it.” It highlights the message of growth out of something toxic, even when it hurts. 

They’ll join The Least Anticipated Album Tour with A Day To Remember, Four Year Strong, and others. Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, March 22, at 10 AM local time. Check out what cities they’ll stop in below:
