Drawing listeners in with a filthy opening riff, The Dirty Nil has unleashed their explosive new track and accompanying music video for “Celebration.” The new release is the second glimpse into the group’s forthcoming fourth studio album Free Rein To Passions, which will arrive on May 26.

Beneath the rip-roaring riffs and steady percussion fills, lyrically, “Celebration” is ultimately a love song expressing your devotion to doing anything for that special someone. Frontman Luke Bentham grasps onto his punk rock-driven vocals while delivering, “Cause the way that you hold me/While the world’s on fire/Is a gift that commands me/And requires a Celebration.”

Beyond the sweet sentiment, the track also pays tribute to Power Trip‘s late frontman Riley Gale, who passed away in 2020. “Celebration” is the band’s “purest love song, unconditional and without mercy,” according to Bentham, showcasing the trio’s ability to create intricate and explosive music while still conveying heartfelt emotions. The group will also head out for a co-headlining tour alongside Daniel Romano’s Outfit this June. The North American tour will kick off on June  1 in Ferndale, MI and run through July 14 where the groups will wrap up in Buffalo, NY. Check out their full touring schedule and grab tickets here.
