We’re heading down to Alabama for the inaugural South Star Music Festival! blink-182 and Gwen Stefani are slated to headline at John Hunt Park on September 28 and 29 in Huntsville, AL. Music fans can register to receive the passcode for Thursday, April 25’s pre-sale that will run from 10 AM ET to 10:40 AM ET, with public sale occurring at 10:40 AM ET, onward.
The two-day festival includes other popular acts: Shinedown, Beck, Vanessa Carlton, Winona Fighter, and many others. Attendees who are dedicated sports fans don’t need to worry about missing any football games either; South Star Sports Hall will be available on-site to broadcast festgoers’ favorite teams. The new addition to the summer festival list, alongside other on-site activations, promises to provide a fun and nostalgic experience.
Gwen Stefani recently returned to the stage to reunite with her band No Doubt, at Coachella last weekend. While audiences may not get the full “Spiderwebs” effect, she definitely won’t be making anyone want to have a “Sweet Escape” from her performance. To keep the 90s vibe alive, Sublime will continue their run without Rome, in place for late frontman, Bradley Nowell’s son, Jakob Nowell. The ska act performed for the first time at the Indo, CA fest with Jakob taking center stage as their new singer.
