Sleep Theory has released a music video for the heavily moody track “Gone Or Staying” via Epitaph. The story behind the video displays a toxic relationship that should go up in flames but is ignited by not wanting to let go. Partnered with a nervous yet remorseful vibe that ramps up toward the end of the track, the band creates a montage of a relatable scenario.
In the music video, vocalist Cullen Moore is driving in a car with rain sprinkling on him. As the song progresses, the color blue coats the scenes as the band performs amidst the haunting ambiance of an old, decaying house. The tension builds towards the end of the track with guitarist Ben Pruitt’s screaming, “Nothing left to lose/Now you have to choose.” The video plays out with the home burning down while Moore stands outside watching it turn into ash.

“‘Gone Or Staying’ is a special song to us,” the hard rock act explains. “We wanted to capture the tension between a couple’s relationship as it comes to an end and the grieving process of letting go of what once was,”
The band is currently on tour with Veil Of Maya, Nothing More, and Wage War. Sleep Theory will then hit the festival circuit to perform at So What?! Festival, Capulet Fest, among others. You can check out their touring schedule below and visit their site for tickets.
