Following a massively successful spring run on their …Is A Real Boy Tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of the group’s breakout album, …Is A Real Boy, Say Anything has announced a second fall leg of the tour.
The group shares in a social media post, “17 shows full of grunting, screaming, sweat, lactose free milk, tears (we’ve cried on stage get over it), NA beers, shredding to NoFX backstage, and…. hopefully not any blood, but if anyone wants to incorporate some fake blood into their concert-drip-fit, please send receipts or make a story where you’re trying on the outfit in advance, and get the fake blood in there, and tag us?”
They continue, “On this tour we will be channeling our inner Corky St. Clair’s and delivering a beautifully-wrapped, glossy, sweet smelling show to you. And one of our favorite parts about the whole dang thing is getting to play shows in places that we haven’t played IN A LONG TIME! Like, a really really really long time. And if you reside in or near one of these places, and intend to partake in the concert experience, we can’t fuckin’ wait to connect and integrate our emotions and spit out the lyrics together like it’s nineteen fuckin’ ninety nine.”
Kicking off almost immediately after the group’s back-to-back scheduled performances at When We Were Young in Las Vegas, the tour will run from November 1 through November 23. Say Anything will be joined by Angel Du$t, Social Animals, Circus Trees, and Runt as support across the tour.
General on-sale tickets will be available starting on Thursday, July 18 at 12 PM ET. Check out the band’s full touring schedule for the remainder of the year below and purchase tickets here.
