PVRIS Release Title Track Of New Album ‘EVERGREEN’

PVRIS are getting ready to share their new album EVERGREEN with the world. A special project that delves deeper into the mind and soul of Lyndsey Gunnulfsen, it is set to be the most stark and sensational piece of their journey so far. We have already heard “GODDESS” and “ANIMAL” and “LOVE IS A…“, but now it’s time to hear the title track. And it is fucking amazing.

What PVRIS have always done so well is create pop music that thinks outside of the box. And “EVERGREEN” feels like a definitive example of that. Melodically it whips and cracks at you with harmonies pulled from the mouth of angels. But musically, it leaps and bounds between synth-laden swells and plucked ambience. It is off-kilter in all the right ways, showcasing such a wide breadth of influence whilst still feeling wholly individual. This isn’t following any sort of blueprint, it is fresh as it comes.

Lyndsey had this to say about it:

“If you search the definition of ‘evergreen,’ you will find words like: enduring, timeless, fresh, unlimited, and renewal. In our modern culture, where everything is online, algorithm-based, and instantaneous, it feels like timelessness, longevity and connection could someday become dying concepts. More than ever, PVRIS has, and always will be anti-formula, anti-virality, and anti-instant gratification.”
