Iconic dark-pop star, Poppy has unveiled the details of her forthcoming album Zig today. The new album is set to release October 27th via Sumerian Records. Supporting the announcement of the new project, Poppy dropped a brand new song, “Knockoff” as well. This surrealist alt-pop track comes as the second teaser from Zig, following “Church Outfit” that dropped in April of this year.

Working with her long-term collaborative partner Simon Wilcox, Poppy also partnered with producer Ali Payami to bring fans this new collection of songs. Giving fans a taste of the experience of what is to come with Zig, Poppy delivered a new visual for “Knockoff”. The video for is oozing with imagery and choreography similar to the 2018 remake of Dario Argento’s horror film, Suspiria. The visual is filled with tarot card aesthetics and an overall brooding sensation.
