Pianos Become The Teeth is celebrating the 10th anniversary of their third full-length, Keep You, with the launch of their massive, 26-track deluxe record. The original tracklisting, which features 10 tracks, has now been amplified to 13 original tracks as well as 13 accompanying instrumental renditions of each track.

Guitarist/songwriter Mike York shares, “Truly hard to believe it’s been 10 years since we released ‘Keep You.’ It both feels like it was a lifetime ago and seems like it could have been just yesterday.”

“We, up to that point, had built our reputation on being an aggressive, post-hardcore band,” he continues. “We knew this record would be different, but I don’t ever remember having a conscious conversation about it – like, when we were writing, the songs just took shape in the way they are on record. There wasn’t this concerted effort to soften anything, we just naturally found our way there. Which, in a way, is the most beautiful thing about this record and every single thing we do. We just wrote where the feeling took us, and this became the final result. I couldn’t be more proud of this record, as well as everything we have done for that reason.”

The Keep You 10th Anniversary Edition offers a dazzling reimagining of the original record, stripping back each arrangement’s instrumentals and vocals to reveal a raw, intimate spirit. While preserving the essence of the originals, the instrumental renditions unveil a lush soundscape of aching emotion and masterful musicianship. Listen to the deluxe album below.
