Rising pop-punk artist Penny Bored has officially signed with Open Your Ears Records. The solo project from Dallas native Faith Alesia is the perfect new music offering for those obsessed with Y2K pop-rock à la Hilary Duff, Aly & AJ, and beyond. “Dance In Hell” is scheduled to appear on Penny Bored’s EP I’m Bored!, which arrives on September 13.
“I’m Bored! is all about navigating your 20s,” Alesia says. “We experience heartbreak, navigate friendships, gossip, and even learn to own up to our own mistakes. This collection of songs breaks down my journey of entering a new phase of adulthood and learning to make the most of it, even if I have to be a little delusional some days to get through it.”

Additionally, about the new song, they share, “‘Dance in Hell’ is all about my relationship with self-sabotage, but more importantly, how important it is to find the positive in a negative situation.”
Penny Bored offers nostalgic, head-banging pop-punk riffs and sings, “Walking on a fine line/Just for a sense of sublime/I know it’s wrong but it feels so right/Following the rules such a waste of time/Ugh I just love self sabotage.”
