As Paramore is nearing the end of their North American run of the This Is Why Tour, the trio paved their way through a 21-song setlist last night in San Francisco at the Chase Center. In a brilliant fusion of sports and music, vocalist Hayley Williams invited Golden State Warriors’ point guard, Steph Curry, to the stage for an electrifyingly special performance.
The crowd was left awe-struck as Curry, known for his prowess on the court and for his remarkable three-point shots, joined Paramore on stage for an unforgettable rendition of “Misery Business.”

The atmosphere was invigorating as Curry stepped into a completely different spotlight. His confidence and poise on the stage were nothing short of the champion demeanor he’s known for on the basketball court. As Paramore ignited the stage with their timeless 2007 hit “Misery Business,” Curry embraced the role of an honorary rockstar with admirable finesse, weaving his energy seamlessly into the band’s.
For fans of the Golden State Warriors or even admirers of Curry’s multifaceted talents, his versatility is no secret. It’s a testament to his charismatic presence that the role of an honorary rockstar suited him with such natural grace during his spontaneous performance with Paramore last night. Check out Curry and Paramore’s “Misery Business” performance below.
As Paramore begins to wrap their summer-long North American run, the group will hit stages across Australia before the end of 2023. The trio will set out with Taylor Swift on The Eras Tour in mid-2024 for a 48-show haul. You can grab tickets to see Paramore live here.
