With just two weeks to go until Pale Waves unleash their new full-length, Smitten, the UK-based group has revealed their new single and accompanying music video for “Thinking About You.” The new single follows the release of “Gravity,” “Glasgow,” and “Perfume” and will be featured on the group’s forthcoming album, which arrives on September 27 via Dirty Hit.
“‘Thinking About You’ is about a situation when someone leaves, and you can’t quite fully move on yet,” frontwoman Heather Baron-Gracie shares. “You know you should and that it’ll be better for you in the long run, but it’s harder and more painful than it seems.”
The yearning and tormented emotion of the track bleeds through and into the one-shot music video. Baron-Gracie walks through a green countryside as she lulls, “I’m still thinking about you/I’m still thinking about you/Tell me tell me do you remember?/And do the feelings linger?” Watch the video for “Thinking About You” below.
