Are you ready to discover your new favorite band? Up-and-coming band Not A Toy is ready to introduce themselves to listeners across the United States this fall as the opening act for Beauty School Dropout. The 26-date run kicks off October 15 in Phoenix, AZ, and goes all the way to the East Coast before ending on December 9 in San Francisco, CA.
Recently signing to Fearless Records this year, Not A Toy is ready to get on the road and allow their fans to experience their recently dropped album PRBLMS in a live setting..
“We’re so excited to be hitting the road with the BSD boys this fall,” the band writes. “Honestly, we couldn’t think of anyone better to go on tour with. We can’t wait to finally play our new album PRBLMS live in so many new places. See you there.”

In addition to their approaching fall tour, the band released the music video for their latest single, “Grown Folk Problems.” Using a mix of footage from a house party, on the roof, and at a corporate day job, Not A Toy highlights the dichotomy between being an adult and longing to reverse the clock to when life was easier. The juxtaposition between teenage rebellion and responsibility emphasize the heavier themes of the track.
The band explains the chaotic-yet-thrilling process of filming the video.
“The video for ‘Grown Folk Problems’ was a wild ride,” they explain. “We knew we had to go big for the video so we flew to LA to shoot it. Later, while we were still editing the video, our van got broken into while we were on tour with DE’WAYNE and the hard drive with a bunch of the footage on it got stolen, so when we got back to Colorado we had to re-shoot the second verse for a second time. We were pretty heartbroken at first, but we made the most out of it and had some fun coming together and shooting it again with fresh eyes and a new idea.”
