The New She-Hulk Trailer
Just as Marvel fans are coming down from the Dr. Strange premiere, Disney+ dropped their new trailer for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The trailer was originally shown at The Walt Disney Company’s 2022 Upfront presentation in New York, where they also said the show will start streaming on August 17th. Taylor Swift Graduates
The graduates of New York University had a graduation like none other yesterday. Taylor Swift attended the ceremony to receive her Doctor of Fine Arts, honoris causa. To make matters even more exciting, she also gave the commencement speech. In her speech, she joked saying, “I’m… 90% sure the main reason I’m here is because I have a song called “22.” She went on to thank her family and acknowledge that this class had particular challenges being college students during a pandemic. Her advice included to embrace cringy moments, as they are unavoidable, and that mistakes can lead to great things. She wrapped things up stating, “I leave you with this: We are led by our gut instincts, our intuition, our desires and fears, our scars and our dreams. And you will screw it up sometimes. So will I. And when I do, you will most likely read about on the internet. Anyway… hard things will happen to us. We will recover. We will learn from it. We will grow more resilient because of it.” However, her last line was the most iconic of them all, cleverly ending with, “I hope you know how proud I am to share this day with you. We’re doing this together. So let’s just keep dancing like we’re…The class of ’22.” Talk about one of the coolest ways to end your college experience.

Lizzo’s New Documentary
It’s official: Lizzo is getting her own HBO Max documentary. We don’t know many of the details yet but it is said to be dropping sometime this fall. Lizzo has been in the spotlight for a few years now but recently she has really taken over in a really incredible way. In just the past few weeks, she joined Harry Styles during his Coachella set, did double duty hosting and performing on SNL, dropped a new single “About Damn Time“, and announced a new album and tour. Not to mention, “About Damn Time” has completely taken off on TikTok.
Now it looks like we’re about to get a more intimate look at her life and her rise to becoming one of the biggest artists out there right now. When making the announcement she said, “Growing up I never dreamed I’d get to experience all of the things I’ve accomplished in my life, and I’m just getting started. I’m so excited I get to share and relive my journey with my fans and HBO Max. From ‘Cuz I Love You’ to my dramatic world tour, losing and gaining love, and creating my new album ‘Special,’ y’all get to see the amount of time, patience, blood, sweat and tears that went into this process. It takes ten years to become an ‘overnight success,’ and hopefully I can inspire other young creatives to keep going.” This is one we will be looking forward to for sure.
