Someone call Seth Cohen because Chrismukkah has certainly taken over the holiday season! Midtown, the beloved New Jersey pop-punkers the scene fell in love with upon their inception in 1998, has announced their first annual Chrismukkah Spectacular show on December 21 at The Wellmont Theater in Montclair, NJ. After an extended hiatus, the group reunited in 2022 for their Ressurection Tour as well as to support My Chemical Romance on several dates of the My Chemical Romance North American Reunion Tour in the fall of 2022.
Midtown’s Chrismukkah Spectacular will see the band in their hometown tearing it up with Piebald, Houston Calls, and Save Face acting as support. VIP presale tickets for this forthcoming Midtown event will go on sale this Thursday, November 9, at 10 AM ET, while general tickets will be available for purchase on Friday, November 10, at 10 AM ET. You can grab tickets to see Midtown here.

The band shares: “Just when you thought it was all over… Midtown is back!
“We had so much fun getting back together last year, but our backs really paid a price, and our kid’s teachers got mad at us for making them miss so much school,” the band continues. “We decided the best way to keep this alive in a sustainable way was to do an annual hometown show, so we present our 1st Annual Chrismukkah Spectacular!”
While we eagerly anticipate the band’s live performance next month, we have high hopes of experiencing cherished fan favorites such as “Give It Up” and “Become What You Hate.” However, we’re also keeping our fingers crossed for a delightful surprise, perhaps some festive holiday covers from the band and a selection of cover tracks from their May 2023 EP release, We’re Too Old To Write New Songs, So Here’s Some Old Songs We Didn’t Write.
More on Midtown
Just weeks ago, Midtown vocalist/bassist Gabe Saporta made a guest appearance at When We Were Young Fest to join The Academy Is…’s William Beckett on stage to perform the Cobra Starship collaboration “Bring It! (Snakes On A Plane).” Saporta joined Beckett and co. on both back-to-back festival dates to an energized crowd that joined in singing as the dynamic vocalist navigated the stage side by side. Check out their performance at WWWY Fest below.
While the collaborative track also features Gym Class Heroes frontman Travie McCoy on the original release, McCoy, who was also at the festival performing with GCH, did not join Saporta and Beckett on stage. However, the three snapped an adorable reunion photo together before the festival concluded. Check out the photo below.
