letlive. are back?! It sounds like it after an Instagram post from the band’s account that was published yesterday, April 17. The first photo in the carousel post is a loose recreation of their 2013 album, The Blackest Beautiful, which appears next to the front cover figure along with “(Revisited)” tagged underneath. While the tour will not happen in 2024, the second image on the post reads, “We shouldn’t have left you without one final dope beat to step to. Two thousand and twenty-five.”
The caption includes a short letter to fans, “11 years of The Blackest Beautiful after 7 years of silence.” The post continues with a heartfelt sentiment: “And to our friends that we never got to say goodbye to – we’ll see you next year to do so. Promoters see slide 2. We’d like suitable spaces around the world for proper farewells. Ll.over one last time.” It concludes with the hashtag, #thiswasletlive.
In the comments, the Californian act adds, “If you’d like to say goodbye, please let your local promotor know.” The second slide of the post includes an email, [email protected], to book them. The thread includes fans tagging festivals, friends, and, of course, promotional companies to get the influential band to their city for one last mosh pit.
Along with the announcement, the band shared that they are re-releasing their 2013 LP. “Remixed. Remastered. Revisited. Available for pre-order now,” they write in the Instagram caption. The pre-order options include three vinyl variants: a grey-cloudy record, black-and-white splatter, and a picture vinyl. Shirts and hats to commemorate the 11-year-old album are also up for grabs on their merch site.
