Preceded by their punchy, poignant single, “NEW WEST ORDER,” FEVER 333 returns today with a new single and accompanying music video for “HIGHER POWER.”
“There are no diamonds to be produced without pressure,” says vocalist Jason Butler. “No lessons to learn without trials.”
He continues, “’HIGHER POWER’ revolves around these ideas and reveres the beauty in the adversity-induced magic performed by marginalized communities. To exist in a world that challenges your very existence every day to some degree is one of the most magical acts I have ever witnessed. Here is my 2:43 soundtrack offering to that act.”
Naturally, the dazzlingly heavy, rap-infused hardcore music video was shot in a church in South Central, Los Angeles. Check out “HIGHER POWER” below.
FEVER 333‘s Welcome To Tha Function tour kicks off on October 17 in Los Angeles and wraps up on December 6 at London’s Electric Brixton. ZULU is set to support on all U.S. dates and HUE, Move, Bucki Sugar, and CLIQUE will appear on select dates.
