K.Flay Teams Up With Vic Fuentes For “Irish Goodbye”

K.Flay is, once again, having an incredible year. Kicking things off with a co-headline tour with grandson, things have materialised into her brand new upcoming album. That’s called MONO and it will be released on September 15 via Giant Music. She has teased how the record is going to sound over the last few months. First with the intricate “Raw Raw“, and then with bristling “Shy“. But now she has revealed a big collaboration that will sit at the center of the release, and it’s with a scene legend.

The new track is called “Irish Goodbye” and is a pulsating and powerful piece of hard-hitting alt-rock. It throbs with distorted bass and crushing attitude and features a guest appearance from Pierce The Veil’s Vic Fuentes. The whole affair is a hard-hitting and heavy listen that will be reverberating around your head for weeks to come.

K.Flay had this to say about “Irish Goodbye” and what made her recruit Vic for it:

“I was screaming in the demo to that song, and eventually I realized, ‘I have a friend who screams professionally, so maybe I should get him on this.”

If that wasn’t enough, K.Flay has also recently released another track, this once taken from a movie. That song is “T.Rex” and the movie is Nimona which will be available on Netflix. It sounds a bit like this:
