idobi’s Biggest Wishes for the Future

As the decade comes to an end, it’s time to look to the future. We’re personally hoping that the Roaring 20s comes back around (but the Panic! at the Disco version). Until we find out what’s ahead, here are the idobi team’s biggest wishes for the future. Happy New Year, idobi fam, see you in the next decade!

That we can all get along.

It’s okay that some of us disagree politically, it’s healthy to have discussions and share different points of view. But things have gotten out of control and hatred has risen to the top at a time when Americans (and the world) need to ban together more than ever. We need to find a way to curb global warming. Otherwise, we won’t be able to do another EOTD list in 2029. Let’s work together, for fuck’s sake. So we can listen to more awesome music, eat good food, and enjoy friends and family.

That we come together to speak up for what is right.

Instead of letting petty differences divide us we need to look
at the bigger picture so we can build a better future.

That Heavy Music will continue to grow, thrive,
evolve, and blow me away.

A lot of really great stuff came out in 2019, I suspect 2020 will be much of the same.

–Patrick Walford, Howl Music Director & host of Rock the Walls

I hope that Max Gary Waldman has a safe, happy, fulfilling, and productive decade.

I hope the same for you if you made it through this entire list.
Rock. Roll.

–Scott Waldman, host of Waldman’s Words

That this is indeed the last Star Wars for a while, we and the franchise could use a break.
–Brett Davern, host of The Brett Davern Show & Radioactive Dads

For the Apocalypse
–Wesam Keesh, host of Wesam’s World

Man, this planet needs to calm down.
–Shawn Kupfer, host of Metal DNA

I hope to see the peace and healing our world
desperately needs in the 2020’s.

(Also, the Rawring 20’s doesn’t sound half bad.)

–Emillie Marvel, Podcast Producer/Specialist

–Tommy Wooldridge, Video Director

For there to be endless donuts in the upcoming year
–Aud Lew, Events and Live Activations Manager

That together we can make America emo again
–Sam Devotta, Book Reviews Editor & host of Geek Girl Riot
