If you haven’t heard, Tennessee just passed Senate Bill 3 and House Bill 9. Collectively, they ban drag shows from happening in public or anywhere a minor could be present. This obviously feels like a giant step backwards from the progress the LGTBQ+ community has made in this country. As a response, Jason Isbell and Alison Russell have put together a benefit concert that will take place in Nashville on March 20th called Love Rising. Hayley Williams, Sheryl Crow, and Brittany Howard are all set to headline the show. Money from the concert will go on to support Tennessee Equality Project, inclusion tennessee, The Tennessee Pride Chamber, and OUTMemphis. To buy tickets for the show, head here!
