Foo Fighters Release Gorgeous New Track “Show Me How”

Photo via Press

We are just over a week away from the release of Foo Fighters’ new album But Here We Are. A tribute and a meditation on the loss of their longtime drummer Taylor Hawkins, each piece of it that they have shared in the build-up has been deeply affecting and beautifully heartfelt. And just as one extra piece of the tapestry before the whole record drops, the band have shared “Show Me How”.

Matched with a gorgeous video brimming with stunningly shot images of wilderness directed by Tim Kellner, it’s a slow-burning piece of thoughtful pop. Featuring vocals from Dave Grohl’s daughter Violet, it’s much more haunting in its approach than the assertiveness of the previous tasters. Washing over you with a sense of grief for what has happened but understanding that things have to change as we move forwards, it’s a heavy but vital listen.
