Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows—D.R.U.G.S.—just shared their new song “It Follows.” The track was preceded by “MALICE,” “Hunger Pangs,” and “Losers Stay Losers (Let-down),” and will also appear on Until God Shows, which is scheduled to arrive via Velocity Records on September 27 and is available for preorder here.
Lead vocalist and former Chiodos singer Craig Owens says, “’It Follows’ paints a picture of someone trapped in a cycle of emotional pain and trauma. They can’t break free from the patterns that continually bring them back to a place of hurt and despair, struggling with the weight of past experiences.”
In the track, Owens urgently sings, “It’s all circling back/And I’m numb to the fact/That i just got carried away/Another failed euphoria/lLost in the moment.”
