Daisy Grenade Drops Extended ‘Cult Classic’ With New Song “Riot”

Daisy Grenade Spring 2023

Following the exciting announcement that Daisy Grenade has joined the Public Consumption and DCD2 Records earlier this month, the band has issued an extended version of their 2022 EP, Cult Classic, featuring their latest tenacious single “Got It Bad” and the never-before-heard “Riot.”

The EP’s newest single, “Riot,” takes the duo’s enthralling cotton candy-colored pop-punk sound to new heights. Ringing in your ears right of the rip, “Riot” opens with a punchy guitar riff and throbbing drumming, the song exudes an unapologetic rebellious spirit reminiscent of early aughts feminism. The lyrics channel a sense of defiance and empowerment, encouraging listeners to break free from societal constraints and embrace their true selves. The anthemic chorus is designed to be shouted from the rooftops, while the electrifying guitar solos add a captivating edge to the track. With their distinctive sound, memorable hooks, and powerful lyrics, Daisy Grenade proves that they are geared to take over the alternative music space.
