Following the release of her debut solo single “7 Minutes In Hell” featuring VOILÀ, Chrissy Costanza (Against The Current) has announced her debut solo EP VII and dropped the second single off of the album “If Looks Could Kill.”
Drawing inspiration from one of Shakespeare’s more tragic love stories, Costanza sings of a love so deep, that it could only be determined by destiny. Utilizing driving guitars and intense vocal progressions, the track wraps you in sonic synths and beats that tug at your heartstrings.
“‘If Looks Could Kill’ is about a desperate, all-consuming love that makes you feel like you’re repeatedly dying and being reborn,” Costanza explains. “Inspired heavily by Romeo and Juliet, I wanted to capture that feeling of yearning for someone whose soul is so deeply intertwined with your own that you can no longer tell where one ends and the other begins. It’s the kind of love that feels predestined as if you were meant to find each other in every lifetime.”

“If Looks Could Kill” will be featured alongside “7 Minutes In Hell” on Costanza’s upcoming EP. VII is set to drop on October 9 and is available for presave here.
