Calling All Captains have returned just in time for summer with their latest explosive single, “Unlike Me“. The new track finds the band at their most vulnerable, navigating the overwhelming feeling of not being good enough in comparison to those around you. The detrimental mindset that almost everyone has found themselves battling at one point or another. We all strive for a healthy self-image and the ability to love ourselves, but that notion is easier said than done. Calling All Captains tackle this theme with grace, and understanding. The track is bathed in the classic gritty vocals we have come to love from the group, with instrumentation that is a catchy and pleasant blend of pop-punk and emotive rock.

Lead vocalist, Luc Gaffwood shared exclusively with idobi: “’Unlike Me’ came from a time in my life where it felt like everything was closing in around me. A time where I didn’t feel comfortable in my own life anymore. These are probably the most personal lyrics i’ve ever put to paper, and it feels amazing that it’s already been connecting with our listeners. Dear reader, you are not alone out there. I struggle with a lot still, and i’m thankful to have such amazing people to share this experience with.”
