Recording artist Bryson Tiller spread love for Breonna Taylor in their shared hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. Originally meant to advertise his new album Anniversary, Tiller used two of his billboards to honor the late Taylor. The first of the boards says, “Dear, Breonna Taylor, you’ve brought the city of Louisville together like we’ve never seen before and we will never forget you…#JusticeForBreonnaTaylor #SayHerName,” while the second message is a simple, “We love you Breonna Taylor.”
He later took to Twitter with a heartfelt message that relayed his own experience with racism in Louisville, both implicit and explicit. Echoing sentiments that are as old as this country; that we all want to see the right thing done, and expressing our collective heartbreak that it hasn’t been. Tiller then ended with a promise we will never forget Taylor, or stop fighting for her.
