After dropping two highly-anticipated singles last month, our iconic pop-punk trio are keeping the momentum with the announcement of a third brand new track. blink-182 took to TikTok and Instagram Reels this morning to share a teaser of their upcoming single, “DANCE WITH ME” slated to drop this Wednesday, October 4th along with a fresh music video. This new tune will serve as the fourth single from their upcoming eleventh studio album, ONE MORE TIME… following the title track, “MORE THAN YOU KNOW” and last year’s single, “EDGING“.
After all of the teasing and hype surrounding the announcement of the album and the first two songs, it’s nice to get something again so quickly. No more waiting this time! No more edging…if you will? LOL. The teaser they posted shows a glammed-up, 80’s-rockstar-archetype version of the blink-182, boasting long, unkempt hair, leather jackets, and sunglasses to promote “DANCE WITH ME”. They lean into their characters, acting aloof and somewhat “under the influence” as they sit in on an interview about their new song.

“I’m gonna ask about the first lyric of the song, or the statement that kind of moves us into your new hit” the interviewer says. “Can you talk a little bit about that? I’m confused and grossed out,” she adds before Mark Hoppus asks “What is the first line?” Tom DeLonge then goes, “When I teach masturbation..I’m always just like…have fun with it.” Classic blink-182 humor.
