Blink-182 Postpones South America and Mexico Tour Dates

blink-182 took to their Instagram to announce they have to postpone their Mexico and South America tour dates until 2024. Travis Barker has injured his ring finger during a rehearsal and is having to undergo surgery to repair it. In a video posted by Tom DeLonge, he says, “I know it seems like you’ve waited so long – which you have. And we’ve waited too. This is just devastating on so many levels. But we’re gonna get Travis better, we’re gonna come down – the three of us, together – and we’re gonna rock, and we’re gonna have an incredible time with you guys. But I really want you to know, from my heart to yours, how important you guys are to us, and this is not something that we could have even seen coming.” twenty one pilots will be replacing the band at various South American festivals.

Barker had previously announced he was having the surgery on his finger today. Ligaments were torn and it had been dislocated. However, at that point the tour was supposed to proceed as normal, kicking off next week. We hope Barker has a speedy recovery and that blink fans can hold on a little longer.
