Boy bands are some of the best bands around. From One Direction and Hanson to BTS and Waterparks, these artists crank out absolute bangers. Frankly, NSYNC‘s “Bye Bye Bye” is forever iconic. Of course, today is a massive day for metal fans who love sounds of the early aughts, as Blind Channel covered Backstreet Boys‘ “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back).” But this time, the “Bloodbros” are back.

The band shares, “Over 10 years ago we were starting our career as a group of teenagers playing energetic metal while being dressed like 2010’s Justin Biebers. People started calling us a ‘boyband trying to play metal.’ We chose to embrace what was originally meant as an insult.”

They continue, “Now it’s time to turn this absolute boyband classic from our live shows to a full-on studio version with low tuned guitars and modern nu metal vibes. Instead of ‘original and sexual’ we are ’emotional and miserable’. Check out our cover of this iconic song and the music video recapping our career’s craziest moments on and off stage.”

Check out the Blind Channel as they add their heavy twist on the classic Backstreet Boys track.

Eagle-eyed viewers may notice that Blind Channel included clips from an idobi Radio live studio session. In January, idobi caught up with the band, and they played a live acoustic cover of “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back).” So, basically, it’s fair to say we’ve been waiting for the official release all year.

Check out their acoustic rendition below.

Additionally, Blind Channel is heading out on tour throughout the UK this fall with Lacuna Coil. Check out their upcoming tour dates here.
