Marking the third single from The Used frontman Bert McCracken’s solo project robbietheused, the artist has unveiled his irresistible new track, “Terrible.”
Steeped in dazzling melancholy, the infectious single pulses with upbeat rhythms and shimmering melodies with danceable energy while declaring, “Without you, life is terrible!” The bittersweet anthem leans heavily into the project’s pop sensibilities, expertly juxtaposing its high-energy sound with an underlying sense of longing.
“This is the first song we recorded for robbietheused,” McCracken shares. “This is my favorite kind of pop song, a simple love song with a simple message. Can’t wait for you to sing along with me! Cause without You life is Terrible!”
Ahead of this solo run, McCracken will be heading out on the road with The Used throughout September with support from Plain White T’s and Raue before the group’s co-headline tour with Taking Back Sunday in October.
