Actors You Didn’t Know Were In Bands Pt. 2

We love it when the world’s of music and pop culture collide. We love that there are so many more of our favorite actors that love to rock and roll, in their everyday life, than we thought. Here’s the second entry to the series covering actors that you didn’t know were in bands.

Dylan Minnette

Known famously as Clay Jensen in the Netflix hit series 13 Reasons Why, Minnette has been rocking in his band Wallows since 2017. The band signed to Atlantic Records in 2018 and has released two EPs + two full lengths, including Tell Me That It’s Over in 2022.

Tyler Posey

This Teen Wolf star has a successful solo music career now, but did you know he was in the pop punk PVMNTS? The band self-released their EP Better Days in 2018 & Posey announced his departure from the group in 2018. The band is now known as Five North.

Mckenna Grace

Known for playing a child genius in Gifted and Ghostbusters: Afterlife, the young actor has her own solo pop rock project that she started when she signed with Photo Finish Records in 2020.

Michael C. Hall

Our favorite TV serial killer Dexter Morgan fronts an indie rock band in real life called Princess Goes to the Butterfly Museum based out of New York City. The group formed in 2018 and have been teasing a new album after their release of Thanks For Coming in 2021.

Ben Stiller

Zoolander himself, Ben Stiller, drummed in the punk band Capital Punishment in the 80s. The band reformed in 2018 when a re-release of their only album Roadkill was released via Captured Tracks.
