Following the release of the titular track pulled from the forthcoming Aaron West And The Roaring Twenties LP, In Lieu Of Flowers, scheduled to arrive on April 12, the 16-person ensemble has revealed their new single “Paying Bills At The End Of The World.”

Stepping into the shoes of Aaron West, a character he has masterfully embodied in the group’s earlier releases, vocalist Dan Campbell (The Wonder Years) seamlessly morphs into the titular persona of the project, skillfully portraying a life outside of his own. In the latest track, Campbell encapsulates the raw desperation of navigating life paycheck to paycheck, vividly painting a picture of the struggles when life gives you no other option. He delivers the gripping chorus, belting out, “I’ve been having that dream where I’m dying again/The one where I get sick, and we can’t afford it/I’ve been walking around here with no health insurance/And we can barely keep the lights on as it is.”
