Following the release of his latest offering, “Shakes,” which arrived last week with the announcement of his forthcoming EP, boy, 5 Seconds Of Summer‘s frontman Luke Hemmings has revealed his upcoming solo headline tour, NOSTALGIA FOR A TIME THAT NEVER EXISTED.

Of his forthcoming tour, “I can’t wait to bring the songs from boy to life on stage for the first time, as well as tunes from When Facing The Things We Turn Away From. See you in May and June. Luke x.”

Speaking on behalf of “Shakes,” Hemmings shares, “‘Shakes’ was written on a dreary NYC evening in between long periods of being on the road. This made it come naturally to write from a melancholy place and feeling of yearning to be back home and feeling lonely and emotionally depleted. There is a longing for love and self-acceptance in the lyrics, and I hope it to be a song and feeling that anyone listening can find themselves in and attach their own story.”

The tour will kick off on May 4 in Paris, France, and see the enigmatic frontman through Italy, Denmark, various locations in the UK, Chicago, IL, a performance at Boston Calling, and more. The tour will conclude with three final dates across Hemmings’ motherland of Australia in the middle of June. The 21-show NOSTALGIA FOR A TIME THAT NEVER EXISTED Tour will go on sale this Friday, March 15, at 10 AM local time and can be purchased here. Check out Hemmings’ full touring schedule below.
